TRollHSM © - a program for calculating and optimizing the temperature of work rolls of
finishing stands of WS HRM.
The functional purpose
TRollHSM © program calculates the optimum distribution of the coolant in the stands
taking into account the mode of rolling, the configuration of the cooling system in each stand
of WS HRM and the desired temperature of rolls.
The main functional advantages
- allows the calculation of rolling modes (energy-power parameters, strip temperature in the stands) and optimize the distribution of coolant in the stands taking into account the mode of rolling, the selected configuration of the cooling system in each stand and assigned rolls temperature;
- Additionally, the following parameters are inputted into program:
- the total number of the work stands;
- thickness, length and temperature of the rolled sheet;
- finite thickness of the strips;
- chemical composition of steel;
- specific (per meter) flow rate for the interstand strip cooling.
- optimal mode of reduction in mill standы is calculated, but can be specified. The calculated strength of rolling forces can be adjusted to the measurement data;
- Rolls temperature calculations can be performed in two versions: after rolling the specified number of strips, or with achieving a stationary temperature conditions. In the second case it is possible to optimize the water flow rate over the mill stands, setting the desired temperature of rolls in each stand. In calculations the water flow rate in each stand, program takes into account the characteristics of the pressure-flow rate characteristics of nozzles. Parameters of nozzles of various manufacturers are stored in an editable database.
Algorithms, implemented in TRollHSM ©, are used in the automatic control of rolls cooling in WS HRM.
