TRollCS © - program for calculating changes in bulk temperature of the roll in its central
section.
The functional purpose
TRollCS © allows to perform calculations and bulk temperature in the central cross-section of the
work roll in rolling process and during pauses.
The main functional advantages
- program allows to solve the problem of determining in different conditions the optimal ratios of coolant supply from the entrance side and from exit of the rolls, on the upper and lower rolls, to optimize the location of the cooling zones over the rolls circumference on the basis of existing structural availability, determine the number of stands where appropriate the use of additional techniques of rolls temperature reduction (feeding technological lubrication or application of anti-pilling systems);
- distribution of the heat transfer coefficient in the coverage zones is calculated by the program, depending on the current roll surface temperature, density of coverage, coolant pressure in the collector, the distance from the nozzle to roll, as well as the jets angle of attack;
- distribution of the heat transfer coefficient in the deformation zone is calculated as a function of the temperature distribution of the strip surface in the deformation zone, rolling force and the thickness of scale;
- convenient interactive symbolic scheme of roll cooling, calculations of fields and bulk temperatures of roll during the rolling of each strip, during pauses, as well as in stationary mode.
TRollCS © is an integral part of a general co-developed computer system for calculating and optimizing the temperature of work rolls of stands of finishing group of WS HRM (TRollHSM ©).
