RollPreflaw - a program for configuring and rational adjusting of collectors of coolant supply on rolls.
The functional purpose
RollPreflaw is designed for configuration and adjusting of collectors for coolant supply on rolling mill
rolls.
The main functional advantages
- allows to determine the topography of the coolant supply, the theoretical per meter coolant flow rate in view of the laws of its distribution along and across the plane of the flame, to evaluate the density of irrigation each collector individually, and in general to roll, to determine the geometrical parameters of the coolant supply (central angles of irrigation on the roll, and the zone irrigation area) and the distribution of angles of attack on the square area of each nozzle (jet) with a roller;
- contains updated and edited database of nozzles from different manufacturers with their pressure-flow rate characteristics, spray angles, the laws of the liquid distribution over the coverage area;
- allows automatically to configure the single- and multi-row collectors optimally (nozzles intervals, their orientation based on user-selected types or selecting them manually from the directory), providing a general coolant distribution over the length of the roll barrel and the density of coverage within the allowable deviation from the general level and the overall non-homogeneity;
- cases are accounted of incomplete liquid supply on roll, as well as the effects of convergence of the jets. Program calculates the density of coverage not only by the action of jets from each nozzle, but integrated density across the coverage area, the central angle on the roll covered by fluid.
TRollPreflaw - solves completely the problems of organization and design of rational fluid supply on the rolls, allows determining the theoretical flow rate distribution per unit length within each row of nozzles and for the whole circle (quarters) of roll. A convenient opportunity is presented to perform the manual correction of the individual jets location, their groups and their orientation relative to the roll position.
